Hornet Nationals
Shoreham Sailing Club are delighted to welcome the Hornet class to compete at their National Championships on 29 August - 01 September 2026.
Come and experience the home of real sea sailing, with easy sheltered launching in the harbour and a short sail out to sea to the race area. Shoreham is renowned for its fantastic waves and regular sea breeze and on occasion the sight of dolphins playing.

The local area contains many attractions for the non-Sailor - bring the whole family.
- Riverside walk which passes through the houseboat community including the Grand Designs houseboat
- Walk along the beach boardwalk affording views of the sailing
- Shoreham Fort
- Shoreham Town
- Widewater Lagoon and nature reserve
- Cycle path to Worthing and beyond
- Trains and buses into Brighton for the Royal Pavilion & Garden, Palace Pier, Upside Down House, The Lanes, The Arches, the Brighton i360 & much more
Tickets are available below. Either the helm or the crew must be a member of the Hornet Class Association. The class association will check eligibility at registration.
Note: Camping is available (free of charge) on a first come first served basis and allocated strictly in event entry order. Pitches are limited and subject to availability. There is no power supply provided. Enter early if a pitch is important to you!
