ASC Evening Sail

Arrive from 17:00 Launch from 17:45 Off Water by 19:30 Home by 20:30 Dark by 21:50 High Water 5.1m at 18:00 This evening sail replaces the theory session. Usual evening sail rules apply: – It is a free sail with no instruction. – Pick an available boat and rig it. – You can sail with anyone who will go with you. – We may ask you to take an extra person so that everyone is included. – No over crewing of boats. So the number of sailors doesn?t exceed the rated number for the boat. – Once the safety boats are on the water you can launch yourself when you wish. – If you know you can?t make it until a bit later but would like to get out on the water then let us know now on the Parent?s Chat WhatsApp group and we?ll try to find someone you can hop on board with during the session. – Similarly if you think you might need some help on the water then let us know now in the event comments and we???ll try and partner you up with someone. Please ensure that you bring: – a spare set of clothing to change into should you get wet – a wind proof / waterproof top – a separate jumper or sweatshirt to leave on the safety boat – some food and drink to keep energy levels up and prevent dehydration – sun cream in sunny weather – closed toe footwear only
