First Aid Course 5 October 2024

The club is offering members a non-accredited First Aid course run by Veronica from Sigta Training. Please note this course is aimed at club members wishing to learn or refresh skills appropriate to the club environment. The course will not issue a certificate that would be required by the RYA to support an Instructor Certificate.

The course will run for around 4 hours and the content will include:

• Use of a defibrillator
• Resuscitation
• Head injuries
• Fractures
• Hypothermia

If interested please book a place by 23 September. We need 10 attendees to run this course so please book early and we will confirm both that the course is running and your place on it once we have 10 firm bookings. Invoices will be issued after your place is confirmed.

The course cost is £50, but the club will pay 50% of this - so cost to you as a member is just £25
